Social Painting: The Scream, Dec 16

Highlights from Classe Petit’s second social painting event in Melbourne. Today’s group explored the concept of emotion, and the narratives that drive them – from a shrieking bride, meditating monk right to bath time dog horrors – inspired by Edvard Munch’s iconic masterpiece, The Scream.

Classe Petit debuts our first social painting event in Melbourne! We spent the afternoon at LULU Cafe & Gallery in North Melbourne, in their beautifully decorated courtyard, painting along to Claude Monet’s Woman with a Parasol.

Social Painting: The Weeping Woman, Dec 3

A private social painting event in Fitzroy’s The Rose Upstairs before Classe Petit’s official launch on December 9. Our group used Pablo Picasso’s Weeping Woman as the inspiration, each eventually finding their own ‘weeping’ story to tell.   Photo credit: Shereene Photography
