An afternoon exploring Robert Delaunay’s Nude Woman Reading!
This afternoon, we explored a painting by Australia’s own Charles Blackman – Woman and Flowers.
A gorgeous autumn afternoon spent with four prominent abstract artists from the 20th century! We used Picasso’s Le Rêve, O’Keeffe’s Abstraction White Rose, Mondrian’s Broadway Boogie Woogie and Mark Rothko to inspire our explorations for the day.
Our first Social Drawing with Books at Willows & Wine, with the classic Le Petit Prince 🤴🏻 So grateful for everyone who attended our trial session! We’ll be back next month to continue with chapters 8 to 16 🙂
What a wet and windy Saturday! Our first indoor event in LULU’s upstairs exhibition space – coincidentally – featured Henri Matisse’s Interior with a Young Girl (Girl Reading).
A day of reflections (no pun intended) – as we explored Picasso’s ‘Girl Before A Mirror‘! A piece heavily layered in symbolism, ripe for conceptual interpretations, but equally as demanding as a technical exercise in form and colour. Here are the results!
Because you can never have too much of a good thing …we used Edvard Munch’s iconic masterpiece, The Scream yet again!
We had the pleasure of hosting Zomato’s team for the afternoon, guiding them through a social painting session inspired by Edvard Munch’s iconic piece, The Scream.
Rain or shine, we paint! Yesterday’s #classepetitsocial was all about The Kiss by Gustav Klimt 💋 It’s always inspiring to see different styles, stories and colours emerge …because we all have something unique to offer!
Our first social painting event for 2018! We spent a beautiful summer afternoon exploring Gustav Klimt’s ‘The Woman in Gold’ (some of us attempted other paintings too!)
